Microsoft Interactive Canvas
This travelling exhibit was created to showcase Microsoft's Expression Suite and foster an understanding of what WPF is really all about.
It was designed to tour Microsoft events around the globe. It was in effect a giant guestbook / scrapbook / doodle pad that allowed people to use a stylis to do what they wanted, but always in response to others. It told the story of mark making over a 10 metre canvas upon which was a scrolling landscape filled with peoples thoughts, artworks, and message threads.
The canvas looped up on itself eventually, transitioning from day to night, liquid to solid, through seasons and history, urban and natural settings, all the time being filled with response.

The piece began in September 2008 at Microsoft's ReMix event and continued around Europe with a second canvas touring the USA at the same time.
